dsview - display a deep shadow file

SYNOPSIS

dsview filename

DESCRIPTION

dsview displays a deep shadow file and some useful information for evaluating the file. The utility gives you two windows, one displaying the deep shadow and a “pixel” window that displays opacity on a scale of 0 to 1 along the vertical axis and depth increasing along the horizontal axis.

NAVIGATION

• Left-mouse button — updates the “pixel” window
• Right-mouse button — selects a pixel and prints its coordinates plus the depth and RGB opacity values of the depth function to your terminal window
• Middle-mouse button — drag to pan
• Shortcuts:
  • q - quit
  • +/- - zoom in and out
  • 1 - reset zoom and pan
  • a/z - step up or down through subimages and files

EXAMPLES

dsview foo.tex

Reads and displays the the deep shadow file 'foo.tex'.
